Jonathan Dow

Jonathan was born on March 21st, 1734. Jonathan's father was Deacon Samuel Dow and his mother was Mary Page. His paternal grandparents were Deacon Samuel Dow and Abigail Hobbs; his maternal grandparents are Christopher Page and Abigail Tilton. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, Joseph, Abigail, Mary, Hannah, Tabitha, Sarah and Comfort. He was the seventh oldest of the nine children. He died after 1784.

General Notes
- Jonathan moved to Brentwood in 1769, where he enlisted in July of 1775 under Captain Henry Dearborn and Colonel John Stark. Receipted in September for three months and three days pay. Jonathan and Comfort were settlers of New Hampton by 1784, perhaps earlier.
