Emma Lovina Dow

Emma was born on January 4th, 1848 in Albany, Orleans County, Vermont. Emma's father was Luther Calvin Dow and her mother was Lovina Dewey. Her paternal grandparents were Greeley Dow and Nancy Glines; her maternal grandparents are Chandler Dewey and Lucinda Buck. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Wallace, Nelson, Avis, Clara, Ellen, Ida, Flora, Lizzie and Charlotte. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 71 on January 31st, 1919 in Waterbury, Washington County, Vermont.
