Avis M. Dow

Avis was born on June 7th, 1866 in Albany, Orleans County, Vermont. Avis' father was Luther Calvin Dow and his mother was Lovina Dewey. His paternal grandparents were Greeley Dow and Nancy Glines; his maternal grandparents are Chandler Dewey and Lucinda Buck. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Wallace, Nelson, Emma, Clara, Ellen, Ida, Flora, Lizzie and Charlotte. He was the nineth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 3 on December 12th, 1869.
