Thomas De Burgh

Thomas was born in 1268 in Stow Cum Quy, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ Thomas' father was Walter De Burgh and his mother was Avelina Fitzjohn. His paternal grandparents were Richard 'The Great' De Burgh and Egidia De Lacy; his maternal grandparents were John Fitzgeoffrey and Isabel Bigod. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard 'The Red Earl', William, Agatha and Egidia. He was the youngest of the five children.¹
