Egidia De Burgh

Egidia was born in 1263 in Ulster, Ireland.¹ Egidia's father was Walter De Burgh and her mother was Avelina Fitzjohn. Her paternal grandparents were Richard 'The Great' De Burgh and Egidia De Lacy; her maternal grandparents were John Fitzgeoffrey and Isabel Bigod. She had three brothers and a sister, named Richard 'The Red Earl', William, Thomas and Agatha. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 100 in 1363.
