Syn's father was Pavel Malovec z Chýnova and his mother is Marie Magdalena Hložková ze Žampachu.  His paternal grandfather was Zdenìk Malovec z Chýnova and his paternal grandmother is Kateøina Kotzová z Dobrze. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named František Leopold, Arnošt Vilém, Zdenìk Václav, Jan Bohuslav, František Lukáš, Adam Václav, Petr Pavel, Anna Markéta, Beninga Kateøina and Jana.  He died in 1661.
