Isabel “The Scot” Canmore 
Isabel, known as The Scot, was born in 1206. The Scot's father was David of Scotland (8th Earl of Huntingdon) and her mother was Mathilda of Chester. Her paternal grandparents were Henry of Scotland (3rd Earl of Northum.) and Ada de Warenne. She was an only child. She died at the age of 45 in 1251.General Notes

Isabel was a niece of the Scots Kings Malcolm IV and William 'the Lion'.Her father David, Earl of Huntingdon, was son of Prince Henry, Earl of Huntingdon, son and heir of David I, King of Scots It was because of this connection that her great-grandson Robert became entitled to claim the throne.
