Arthur (Duke of Connaught & Strathearn) 
Arthur was born in 1850. Arthur's father was Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha and his mother was Victoria (Queen of England). His paternal grandparents were Ernest I (Duke of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha) and Louise of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg; his maternal grandparents were Edward (Duke of Kent & Strathearn) and Victoria (Princess of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld). He had three brothers and five sisters, named Edward VII, Alfred, Leopold, Victoria, Alice, Helena, Louise and Beatriz. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 92 in 1942.General Notes
