George was born in 1800 in Shocklach and his baptism took place there on February 16th, 1800.1  George's father was Richard Mullock and his mother was Jane Richards.  His maternal grandparents were Richard Richards and Anne Phythian. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Thomas, James, Robert, Mary and Jane.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 20 in June 1820 in Shocklach.  He was buried on June 22nd, 1820 in Shocklach.2
