Ruth Mather

Ruth was born on March 21st, 1892 in Samlesbury and her baptism took place there on March 21st, 1892.¹²

Birth Notes

Ruth's father was John Mather and her mother was Mary Jane Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Marsden. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Isaac, John, Abraham, Henry, Harold, Mary and Esther. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 72 in September 1964 in Manchester.³
