Ralph's father was Ralph Haworth and his mother was <unknown>. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, Lawrence, Jenet, Ann, Margaret and Jane.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 71 in January 1733 in Lower Darwen.  He was buried on January 28th, 1733 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Blackburn).¹
