Ann was born in 1662 in Lower Darwen and her baptism took place on November 9th, 1662 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Blackburn).1  Ann's father was Ralph Haworth and her mother was <unknown>. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Ralph, Lawrence, Jenet, Margaret and Jane.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
