David was born on April 17th, 1882 in Wythe County, Virginia. David's father was William Henry Shinaut and his mother was Susan Alice Hix.  His paternal grandparents were Rueben Shinaut and Eleanor Franklin; his maternal grandparents were Hix and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Earl, Joseph, Estella, Mary and Ethel.  He died at the age of 81 on June 13th, 1963 in King City, Gentry County, Missouri.




David's family

David and Fannie were married on October 8th, 1902 in Atchison County, Missouri.  They had a son named George.
