Mary Louise "Mollie" was born on May 11th, 1880 in Morgan County, Indiana, USA.1   Mary Louise "Mollie"'s father was Lawson E. Payton and her mother was Ruth Adeline Harvey.  Her paternal grandparents were Rufus Leroy Payton and Louisa Anna Dawson; her maternal grandfather is James A. Harvey and her maternal grandmother was Mary A Miller. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William Morgan, Paul, David Luther, Montie, Estella Henrietta, Isabell and Zellie M.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 64 on December 16th, 1944 in Bloomington, Monroe, Indiana, USA.
