Kate Heffernan

Kate was born in 1884.  Kate's father was William Heffernan and her mother was Mary St John.  Her paternal grandparents were John Heffernan and Mary Cody; her maternal grandparents were St John and <Unknown>. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Patrick, Thomas, James, John, Daniel, Mary, Ellen and Norah.  She was the second oldest of the ten children. She had a half-sister named Maggie.

‌Kate and Michael were married in a religious ceremony on May 14th, 1905 in Ballingarry witnessed by Nicholas Harding, Ellen Heffernan.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Owen, James and Alice.
