James Heffernan

James was born in 1897.  James' father was William Heffernan and his mother was Mary St John.  His paternal grandparents were John Heffernan and Mary Cody; his maternal grandparents were St John and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Patrick, Thomas, John, Daniel, Mary, Kate, Ellen and Norah.  He was the third youngest of the ten children. He had a half-sister named Maggie.
