Thomas Furey

Thomas Furey Headstone

Thomas was born on November 15th, 1858 and his baptism took place on November 15th, 1858.  His godfather was Pattt Kelly and his godmother was Honor Kelly.  Thomas' father was Thomas (Tom) Furey and his mother was Anne  Warde. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Ned, Martin, Margaret, Eliza, Ellen and Bridget.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 78 on July 17th, 1937.  He was buried in Oranmore Old Cemetery.
