John Furey

John was born on November 26th, 1903 in Bushfield. John's father was Edward (Ned) Furey and his mother was Bridget Brennan. His paternal grandparents were Thomas (Tom) Furey and Anne Warde; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Brennan and Bridget Grealy. He had a brother and five sisters, named Michael, Delia, Catherine, Norah, Margaret and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas, James, Mary and Julia.
