James Furey

James was born on August 24th, 1897 in Bushfield.  James' father was Edward (Ned) Furey and his mother was Catherine Reilly.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas (Tom) Furey and Anne  Warde. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Mary and Julia.  He was the second youngest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, Michael, Delia, Catherine, Norah, Margaret and Margaret.  He died at the age of 71 in 1968.
