Wouter van der Schalie 
Wouter was born in 1785 in Dordrecht and his baptism took place there on March 6th, 1785.1 Wouter's father was Schalk Corneliszn van der Schalie and his mother was Neeltje Woutersdr de Beer. His paternal grandparents were Cornelis Corneliszn van der Schalie/Schally and Aeltje of Alida Cornelis van der Borcht of Burg of Borg; his maternal grandparents were Wouter Pietersz de Beer and Maria Anthonisd Swaans. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Cornelis, Schalk, Wouter, Gerrit, Gerret, Maria and Neeltje. He was the third oldest of the eight children.-
