Louisa was born in 1918.  Louisa's father was William Llewellyn Buckler and her mother is Louisa Elizabeth Fox.  Her paternal grandparents were Josiah Buckler and Mary Allender. She has two brothers and three sisters, named William, Samuel, Mary, Dorothy and Margaret.  She is the second oldest of the six children.
