Frank was born on November 17th, 1882 in Fenton, Staffordshire, England and his baptism took place there on November 17th, 1882.  Frank's father was Mr Aaron Deakes and his mother was Mrs Lavinia (Lizzie) Newman. He had three sisters named Mary, Lavinia and Annie.  He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named George, Lavinia, Emma and Emily.  He died in 1882.
