Mary was born on April 25th, 1897 in York Cottage,Sandringham,Norfolk,England.  Mary's father was George_V Windsor and her mother was Mary_of_Teck (May).  Her paternal grandparents were Edward_VII Wettin and Alexandra of_Denmark "Alix"; her maternal grandparents were Francis and Mary Adelaide "Fat_Mary".  She was the third of six children.  She had five brothers named Edward_VIII, George_VI, Henry William Frederick, George Edward Alexander and John Charles Francis.  She died at the age of 67 on March 28th, 1965 in Harewood House,Yorkshire,,England.
