Edward_VIII was born on June 23rd, 1894 in White Lodge,Richmond Park,Surrey,England.  Edward_VIII's father was George_V Windsor and his mother was Mary_of_Teck (May).  His paternal grandparents were Edward_VII Wettin and Alexandra of_Denmark "Alix"; his maternal grandparents were Francis and Mary Adelaide "Fat_Mary".  He was the oldest of six children.  He had four brothers and a sister, named George_VI, Henry William Frederick, George Edward Alexander, John Charles Francis and Mary.  He died at the age of 77 on May 28th, 1972 in Paris,,,France.  His burial was in Frogmore,Windsor,Berkshire,England.
