Alexandra of_Denmark "Alix" was born on December 1st, 1844 in Yellow Palace,Copenhagen,Denmark.  Alexandra of_Denmark "Alix"'s father was Christian_IX and her mother was Louise of_Hesse-Cassel.  Her paternal grandparents were Frederick William of_Schleswig- and Louise Caroline of_Hesse-Cassel; her maternal grandparents were William of_Hesse-Cassel and Louise Charlotte of_Denmark.  She was the second of six children.  She had three brothers and two sisters, named Frederick_VIII, William George_I of_the_Hellenes, Valdemar, Dagmar "Marie" of_Denmark and Thyra of_Denmark.  She died at the age of 80 on November 20th, 1925 in Sandringham,,Norfolk,England.  Her burial was in St. George Chap.,Windsor,Berkshire,England.
