James Francis Edward was born on June 10th, 1688 in St. James Palace,London,England.  James Francis Edward's father was James_II Stuart and his mother was Mary Beatrice of_Modena.  His paternal grandparents were Charles_I Stuart and Henrietta Maria of_France; his maternal grandparents were Alfonso_IV d'Este and Laura Mortinozzi.  He was the fourth of five children.  He had a brother and three sisters, named Charles of_Cambridge, Catherine Laura, Charlotte Maria and Louisa Maria Theresa.  He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Charles of_Cambridge, James of_Cambridge, Charles, Edgar of_Cambridge, Mary_II, Anne, Henrietta and Catherine.  He died at the age of 77 on January 1st, 1766 in Rome,,Italy.
