Edgar of_Cambridge was born on September 14th, 1667 in St. James Palace,London,England.  Edgar of_Cambridge's father was James_II Stuart and his mother was Anne Hyde.  His paternal grandparents were Charles_I Stuart and Henrietta Maria of_France; his maternal grandfather was Edward Hyde.  He was the sixth of eight children.  He had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles of_Cambridge, James of_Cambridge, Charles, Mary_II, Anne, Henrietta and Catherine.  He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Charles of_Cambridge, James Francis Edward, Catherine Laura, Charlotte Maria and Louisa Maria Theresa.  He died at the age of 2 on November 15th, 1669 in Richmond Palace,London,England.
