Charles was born on July 4th, 1666 in St. James Palace,London,England.  Charles' father was James_II Stuart and his mother was Anne Hyde.  His paternal grandparents were Charles_I Stuart and Henrietta Maria of_France; his maternal grandfather was Edward Hyde.  He was the fifth of eight children.  He had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles of_Cambridge, James of_Cambridge, Edgar of_Cambridge, Mary_II, Anne, Henrietta and Catherine.  He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Charles of_Cambridge, James Francis Edward, Catherine Laura, Charlotte Maria and Louisa Maria Theresa.  He died at 11 months old on June 20th, 1667 in Richmond Palace,,England.
