Leopold George Duncan was born on April 7th, 1853 in Buckingham,Palace,London,England.  Leopold George Duncan's father was Albert Augustus Charles and his mother was Victoria Hanover.  His paternal grandparents were Ernest_I of_Saxe-Coburg- Saalfeld and Louise of_Saxe-Coburg- Altenburg; his maternal grandparents were Edward Augustus Hanover and Victoria Mary Louisa.  He was the eighth of nine children.  He had three brothers and five sisters, named Edward_VII, Alfred Ernest Albert, Arthur William Patrick, Victoria Adelaide Mary, Alice Maud Mary, Helena Augusta Victoria, Louise Caroline Alberta and Beatrice Mary Victoria.  He died at the age of 30 on March 28th, 1884 in Cannes.
