Frederick William_IV was born on October 15th, 1795 in Berlin,Germany.  Frederick William_IV's father was Frederick William_III and his mother was Louise of_Mecklenburg- Strelitz.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick William_II and Frederica of_Hesse- Darmstadt.  He was the oldest of ten children.  He had four brothers and five sisters, named William_I of_Germany, Charles, Ferdinand, Albert of_Prussia, Charlotte of_Prussia, Frederica, Alexandrine, Louisa of_Prussia and Daughter Stillborn.  He died at the age of 65 on January 2nd, 1861.
