William was born on May 18th, 1821.  William's father was Richard Glover and his mother was Sarah  Street (Glover).  His paternal grandparents were Amos Glover and Drusilla Spurgin. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Elizar, George, Andrew, John, Harrison, Amos, Alpheus, Preston, Elizabeth, Drusillan, Angelena and Harriet.  He was the oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 91 on July 4th, 1912.
