Katherine was born on July 15th, 1929.  Katherine's father was Joseph Wieseler and her mother was Susan Barthelemy.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Wieseler and Renata Schmidt.  She has three brothers and a sister, named Dominic, Richard, Robert and Dorothy.  She is the fourth oldest of the five children.
