Hugo was born on October 15th, 1876.  Hugo's father was John Liechti and his mother was Rosalia Caroline Lehman.  He had six brothers and four sisters, named Albert, Ernest, Charlies, John, Adolf, Otto, Emma, Bertha, Amelia and Ida.  He was the youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 90 on March 30th, 1967 in Nemaha, IA.

Hugo and Orianna were married. They had two sons and two daughters, named Wilbur, Roy, Alice and Florence.
