Gladys Tembey

Gladys was born on April 27th, 1889 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland and her baptism took place there on May 19th, 1889. Gladys' father was Samuel Tembey and her mother was Anne Hastings. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Tembey and Sarah Thomas; her maternal grandparents are William Hastings and Isabella Lucas. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George Washington, Harold Newcombe, Leslie Hastings, Frank Hall, Douglas Hastings, Muriel, Alberta and Ruby. She died at the age of 93 in 1982.
