Bert Tembey

Bert was born on May 2nd, 1889 in Grass Valley, Nevada Co, California, USA. Bert's father was William Tembey and his mother was Amelia Nicholls. His paternal grandparents were John Tembey and Jane Toy; his maternal grandparents are William Nicholls and Elizabeth Kneebone. He had six brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Christopher, Alfred, George, Samuel, Amelia Ellen, Elizabeth Jane, Bessie, Alma Carrie and Mabel. He is the youngest of the twelve children.
