William Tembey

William was born on October 8th, 1840 in Polgear, Wendron, Cornwall and his baptism took place on January 16th, 1841 in Wendron, Cornwall. William's father was John Tembey and his mother was Jane Toy. His paternal grandparents were John Tembey and Isabella Bennetts. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John Henry, John Henry, Christopher, Eliza, Elizabeth, Mary Jane and Sarah Ellen. He was the fifth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 65 on October 4th, 1906 in Grass Valley, Nevada Co, California, USA.
