Eliza Rodgers

Eliza was born in May 1866 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.¹ Eliza's father was John Rodgers and her mother was Ann Fretwell. Her paternal grandfather was Godfrey Rodgers and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Sharman; her maternal grandfather is John Fretwell. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Henry, William Henry, Samuel, Mary Ann, Elizabeth and Maria. She is the youngest of the nine children.
