Thomas Jones

Thomas was born in 1862 in St Martins, Oswestry, Shropshire, England.¹ Thomas' father was Isaac Jones and his mother was Elizabeth Powell. His paternal grandfather is Edward Jones; his maternal grandparents are George Powell and Jane. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Richard, John, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah and Margaret. He is the sixth oldest of the nine children.

General Notes
- When his wife passed away he went to live with Margaret Williams, a Widow. When she passed away he lived at his granddaughters house at St. Martins. She says he was a lovely kind man and every night he used to stand on his bed to wind up a big clock on his wall, which was his pride and joy!! (Pamala Price)
