Male Richard Jones

Richard was born in 1855 in St Martins, Oswestry, Shropshire, England.1   Richard's father was Isaac Jones and his mother was Elizabeth Powell.  His paternal grandfather is Edward Jones; his maternal grandparents are George Powell and Jane. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Thomas, John, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah and Margaret.  He is the fourth oldest of the nine children.

Richard's first family with Elizabeth Preece

Richard and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in December 1878 in Forden, Shropshire, England.2   They have a daughter named Alice.
