Bessie Heaton

Bessie was born on February 22nd, 1891 in Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ Bessie's father was John Heaton and her mother was Grace Pilkington. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Heaton and Margaret Bailey; her maternal grandfather was Hugh Pilkington and her maternal grandmother is Ann Seddon. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Robert, John, Margaret Bailey, Jane and Alice. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 83 in 1974 in Sevenoaks, Kent, England.
