Female Mary Brown

Mary was born on November 18th, 1829 in Sunderland, Durham, England.1   Mary's father is Thomas Brown and her mother is Mary Rowland.  Her paternal grandparents are James Brown and Mary Robinson. She had five brothers and a sister, named James, William James, Robert Hedley, James, Thomas and Ann Isabella.  She is the second oldest of the seven children.

Mary and William were married in a religious ceremony in June 1849 in Sunderland, Durham, England.2   They have two sons and seven daughters, named Thomas, John, Eliza, Mary Ann, Hannah, Jemima, Isabella, Emma and Ellen.
