Male James Brown

James was born in 1827 in Sunderland, Durham, England.  James' father is Thomas Brown and his mother is Mary Rowland.  His paternal grandparents are James Brown and Mary Robinson. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William James, Robert Hedley, James, Thomas, Mary and Ann Isabella.  He is the oldest of the seven children.

James and Hannah were married in a religious ceremony on October 21st, 1848 in Medomsley, Durham, England.1
