Emma Swallow

Emma was born in June 1864 in Sunderland, Durham, England.¹ Emma's father is William Swallow and her mother is Mary Brown. Her maternal grandparents are Thomas Brown and Mary Rowland. She has two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, John, Eliza, Mary Ann, Hannah, Jemima, Isabella and Ellen. She is the seventh oldest of the nine children.
