Richard Joseph was born on May 11th, 1911 in Avoca, County Wicklow, Ireland.1   Richard Joseph's father was Richard KENNY and his mother was Bridget BYRNES.  His paternal grandparents were Richard KENNY and Margaret MCDONNELL; his maternal grandfather was Michael BYRNES and his maternal grandmother is Margaret BRIEN. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Michael, Andrew, James, Sean, Maria, Rose, Molly, Nancy, Bridget, Julia and Kathleen. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Richard, Denis, Michael, Matthew and Frances.  He died at the age of 55 on December 29th, 1966 in Ballygahan, Avoca, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.1

‌Richard Joseph and Esther were married in a religious ceremony on July 27th, 1943 in Avoca, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.  They had four sons and five daughters, named Noel Martin, Richard, Living, Living, Mary Philomena, Geraldine, Living, Living and Living.
