Elenor (Nellie) was born on June 21st, 1878 in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada.1 Elenor (Nellie)'s father was Francis HOURIGAN and her mother was Mary KENNY. Her paternal grandparents were Michael HOURIGAN and Bridget MALONEY; her maternal grandparents were Thomas KENNY and Elenor PURCELL. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Michael Francis, Thomas, Francis John, John James, Thomas Leo, Leonard Joseph, Bridget Ann (Anna), Mary Teresa and Veronica. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 85 in 1963 in Smiths Falls, North Elmsley Twp., Lanark Co., Ont., Can. She was buried in Roman Catholic Cemetery, Smith Falls, Ontario.2 2 General Notes
