Sarah BALFE 
Sarah was born on August 9th, 1874 in Elmsly, Ontario, Canada.1 Sarah's father was Thomas BALFE and her mother was Ann HOURIGAN. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas BALFE and Sarah (Sarah) KENNY; her maternal grandparents were Michael HOURIGAN and Bridget MALONEY. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Michael Fredrick, John J., Mark Leo, (Bridget) Leone, Evelyn Ann, Mary T. and Gertrude C.. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 9 on July 25th, 1884 in Ontario, Canada. She was buried in St Francis Catholic Cemetery, Smith Falls, Ontario.-
