Charlotte was born on September 9th, 1851.  Charlotte's father was James Phillip Caust or Cause and her mother was Ann Clogg.  Her paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and Jane Cause; her maternal grandfather was Richard Clogg and her maternal grandmother is Mary. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, William, James, James, Mary Ann, Sara, Elizabeth and Amelia.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 77 on September 15th, 1928.
