Chana Anne was born on May 8th, 1908 in China.  Chana Anne's father was William Katz and her mother was Luba Isabella Abraham Zimmerman (Katz).  Her maternal grandparents were Abraham Zimmerman and Hosh-Feiga Mogilevskaja (Zimmerman). She had five brothers and two sisters, named Aron, Eric, Morris, Alfred , Frances Valerie, Sarah and Lillian.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 63 in May 1971 in New York, USA.
