John David Rinehart

John David was born on September 24th, 1846 in Virginia. John David's father was Samuel Rinehart and his mother was Lydia Prett. His paternal grandparents were Henry Peter Rinehart and Elizabeth Longanecker. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Henry, William Prett, Jeremiah, Samuel Avey, Martin Luther, Ann Rebecca, Elizabeth Catherine, Susan A., Lydia Ann, Mary Ann and Sophia Jane. He was the tenth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 71 on March 31st, 1918 in Seymoursville, WV. His burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Arthur, WV.¹
