Thomas' father was Thomas Hawker and his mother was Catherine Hill. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas, Susannah, John, Nancy, Sarah, Mary, Mary, Betsey and Elizabeth.  He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  He died in 1765.  He was buried on September 12th, 1765 in St Stephen, Bristol, UK.
